About Digital Teardrops
The name “Digital Teardrops” originally signified the digital technology used to preserve personal and family memories for the future generations. Creating emotionally-stirring video montages for DVD was a Digital Teardrops specialty. The company was formed in 1992 when their first wedding video was completed. Over the years, funeral memorial videos and special event videos were added as well as website design.
Digital Teardrops is owned by Terrie Soberg. While Terrie still does event videos when requested, her focus now is on helping small business owners. She enjoys teaching them the benefits of having a website and using internet marketing and video on the web to increase their business profits. She created the Sherburne Community Directory that lists the local business owners in her area. She am able to go out and visit with the business people as part of her service. Being a small business owner for over 20 years gives her excellent insight into the needs of people struggling to make a profit, especially in the difficult recessionary times we are experiencing now.
Terrie also has a diverse set of talents. She is the mother of nine children and grandmother of four. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Minnesota. Terrie is currently an Alumni member of the Sherburne Sheriff’s Department Cititzen’s Academy, a Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) member, a Sherburne National Wildlife Roving Interpreter, and a Boy Scout Merit Badge counselor.
